The Soup Nazi and the Marble Rye are two of the funniest episodes of the hit, award-winning TV show Seinfeld. This was the most popular show of the 90s, even surpassing Friends in the US. Surely you've heard of it, but it is rarely shown in Korea. This offers a look into common American sarcasm and humor, while giving a very realistic insight into New York culture. (see more about the show here)Some of you may ask, isn't this show old? Yes, it is. Still, it remains avidly watched and is the best example of real conversation of any show I've ever seen on television. (Personally I like watching Lost, the Shield, Flight of the Conchords, and 24 in my spare time, but Seinfeld is more realistic and more suited for teaching. Today, the writers of Seinfeld are part of another great show called Curb your Enthusiasm).
